The Contributor

WearMostNeeded is an initiative that seeks to connect Canadian businesses with people in need around the world. Gordon Brew, Communications Manager at Canadian Baptist Ministries in Mississauga, Ont., established WearMostNeeded out of a desire to make meaningful connections between faith and work. Through WearMostNeeded, businesses are able to donate their talent or products to help raise funds for projects around the world.

Gordon has worked in the field of Communications and Graphic Design for nearly 30 years, serving both corporate and non-profit organizations. An innovator with a huge talent for strategic advertising and creative concepts, Gordon blends an awareness of symbolic relationships, abstract ideas, and strategic options with an understanding of technology to create impactful print and multimedia design.

Through his network and connections, Gordon seeks out creative professionals and organizations that are willing to contribute their talents and resources to support those in need. From t-shirt designs to product donations, WearMostNeeded serves as a bridge between Canadian businesses and impoverished people around the world.

The Cause

Tumaini means ‘hope’ in Swahili. Kamp Tumaini is a two-week camp for children infected or affected by HIV and AIDS in Kenya. Serving as camp leaders, Canadian and Kenyan youth volunteer together to give children an experience filled with hope and joy. The children take part in fun activities and games while experiencing the love and compassion of caring camp leaders. When you purchase a product from WearMostNeeded, the proceeds go to support the work and ministry of Kamp Tumaini.
